I got the point. Thanks for the suggestion. I might go for those anyway as they're in stock. I've got Grand Bois Hetres on another bike and they're great.

No one who actually rides their bike should get Challenge Strada Bianche tyres. Total piles of shit.
Sure they have OK rolling resistance, but fuck all else going for them. -

Too much puntures then?
-
• #3432
I had the Challenge Stradas on for a bit on my road bike. Seemed fine.
Gonna go gryphon innit

Can you suggest something to aid the debonding?
A solvent? Rubbing alcohol? Acetone?Edit: Was a reply to an older comment about peeling off reflective strips from tyres.

A couple thousand kilometres on and I'm very happy with my Open Corsa G+'s. They're smooth, feel nice on corners (they also make a nice sound on corners) and fairly puncture resistant.
I also recently toured on a pair of Challenge Strada Biancha's in the 30mm size. Awesome. The best tyre I've ever used. Silky smooth, rugged and grippy.
Does anyone have experience with the Specialized fat boy, 700x45? I'm looking for some voluminous slicks for a monster cross type build.

How come?
I've loved mine. And I ride my bike a lot. A lot, a lot.

I don't know why but we just were beset by punctures. And they seem to cut up pretty easy.
That being said- they totally redeemed themselves this weekend in Devon.
Bit 50:50 on them overall. -

Puncture doesn't equal bad tho, I mean it's one of those thing that you really can't control unless you have summat like a Durano Plus.

Cuts through the tyre are things you don't expect though.

They were on Saturday: I called them to check the colour.
I shouldn't have hesitated, but I expect we'll be seeing them on clearance elsewhere.
