Hahah! I kind of agree that I should stretch my budget for something better, but unless they're going to significantly outlast the above tyres then I don't know whether it will be worth it.

They make more difference than... your frameset.
Buy the nice tyres already.

Ugh. Three separate punctures from three separate pieces of glass this morning. I think I might be ready for tubeless tyres..

It's great when no one else in your office cycles and you turn up half an hour late, covered in black stuff and in a terrible mood.

Does anyone know where I could pick up a pair of Specialized Roubaix Pro's in 25mm? Evans and Sigma only seem to have 23's
-
• #2063
They are 25 casing with 23 tread in Specialized unique nomenclature
-
• #2064
Ah that was confusing me, so the 23's are essentially 25's?
-
• #2065
Sorry Ed, but it has always amused me that this looks remarkably like you...

In other news I've just found the Marathon Supreme I replaced in January and have commuted on for about 4 months total has just had the sidewall fail in exact same way as the one it replaced.
Looks a bit like this one from YACF. Seems to be a thing with them if run low pressure or overloaded.

• #2068
Ok,so in that case the ones on Evans and Sigma are 23s and I'm still on the lookout for 25s.
-
• #2069
Ed is taking the piss mate. Ignore.
-
• #2070
Actually misunderstood your sentence thinking you're saying that the 25mm have the same tread as the 23mm version.

That was my intention, will I die?
It was a copy and paste job, I don't think that I would have the patience to type that out. The black 28s aren't in stock.
