Loads of flanting going on in the garden in Bristol yesterday on first warm day for a while.

Inundated with flants just now. Swarms of them out in West London.

lifted a pot at my mums house yesterday and saw some non flying flants underneath

Live from Shoreditch: not actually seen them fly yet, but there's loads crawling around my feet and came here to see if others had reported. It's go time!

Seven sisters Finsbury park junction heading in to the city is like hitting a wall of the flying bastards.

On way back needed a mask and glasses.

Got hit by loads on my way home from work. From SE1 to E4 via City, Hackney, E10/17.

Just watched a flant rip its own wings off.

Not the same level of horror, but a lady got on the bus in front of me the other day, and she had a whopping great flant crawling around in her hair

Made the mistake of going outside in a yellow top. Was covered within 5 mins. Only noticed when I felt them crawling up my neck.

In the far east of East Yorkshire, flying ants emerging, being picked off at low level by dragon flies, at higher levels by black headed gulls. Quite a spectacle.
