Mens final was incredible, some of the rallies between Feds and Djokovich were unbelievable. It was a bit subdued because of the football though.
-
• #578
Smart money on Djokovich again, would love to see Muzza have another pop though.

Team Raonic for me this year, not going to win but I love watching him play, hes had an incredible year
-

Wawrinka off the back of the french open though..I also I like the fact that the only two grand slam finals he's been in, he's won. Although he hasn't faired all that well at Wimbledon in the past.

It's fucking awesome, very jealous.
Had a mate whose dad was an honorary steward and he let us in a gate round the back and also managed to let us onto the centre court for a bit of the semi-final. -
• #583
Oh yeah. What's the line.up for Sunday? ? Grateful for the gen
-
• #584
1st Sunday is a day off and 2nd Sunday is men's final.
-
• #585
Day off OR catch up day if there's been lots of delays in play due to the rain.
'Peoples Sunday' is truly magic, no reserved seats at all, first to arrive on the day get the tickets. Real fans on centre court not just the rich, connected or lucky :) -

COME ON TIM.
Oh wait...
-
• #591
Tim Smyczek?
-
• #592
Wow, the queue today was crazy. Got there about 0745 and was around 8,800. Didn't get in until after 5 (hurrah, discounted ground passes), by which time I was a shrivelled molton blob.
Saw Mahout win though, which was nice. -
• #593
Got there at 6:45, strava avg from finsbury park to Wimbledon an improbable 38K.
Number 6120. If your queuing for a ground pass aim to be there for 7.
Bike parking is good, keep it with you in the queue they will sort you out.
Highlight was monfils on number 3, love that guy. Such an entertainer, must be a pain to coach though.

putintseva - williams - underdog giving it right back!
-
• #595
She did well to claw back those two match points with great shots. Shame she couldn't get a third set and save us from Wimbledon 2day.

Well in Dustin Brown.
Where was it I read about the coincidental correlation between Nadal's dip in form and the increase in drug testing in tennis?
-
• #597
awesome match that was tom, brown just exploited nadal's technical deficiencies
-
• #598
Yep, @cornelius_blackfoot and I watched it on Aoyrangi Terrace with some very friendly, very drunk, randoms. Great match. Great afternoon out.
-
• #599
fuck Nadal the Fuentes experiment and his regular "injuries" that keep the testers at bay just before builds to tournaments he wants to win

Watching Dustin Brown was a breath of fresh air. What a touch.
women's final was boring as hell but you have to admire the clinical way Kvitova totally annihilated Bouchard
