Sorry to be a pain, but can my name be taken off the one shift I took for Sunday? I'll dedicate my Saturday to you guys and give my Sunday to the Refs as they are short as well.

I'm unable to use walkies talkies, is there no way we can use smoke signals? :(
-
• #106
Semaphore is the way forward.
-
• #107
Heh, its just my hearing aid interferes with the radiowaves of walkie talkies and cant exactly lipread a phone.
-
• #108
Yep, we've already pencilled you in for non-radio jobs.
-
• #109
Ah, cheers. Looking forward to it :D

Semaphore is the way forward.
Given the quality of the radio system you are getting, you may well find that semaphore is the way forward.

Tell me youre not bringing the radios I think you are?
Honestly, I just use mine to balance out the weight in my bag. I would never dream of trying to convey an important message on one of those things. Even if you were listening instead of reading the forum..

For this Friday afternoon ... we have the main marquee and courts stuff arriving at noon! We need as much help as possible to unload it all and start building. It will take us a good few hours to set all this up.
If you're on this list, please aim to make it to Union Street as close to 11.45am as you can:
- Playswellwithotters
- alockett (possibly, depends if I get the day off) -
- Lal (Adrienne)
- vidal - Player Registration & Information point
- Mike - Court building, etc.
- Cohen
- dt
- sarah
- gabes (court building)
- Bianca
- Rik
- Tomasito
- horatio
- Jacqui (court building)
- skoota
IF you volunteered for the later shift on Friday, please just try to get there as early as possible. We're aiming to be done by 8pm so there's still time to get to the end of registration barbecue/drinks at Tour de Ville and the Polo cat.

I am now reffing which may overlap slightly with the Saturday morning shift I am down for. Hope this isn't a major problem, let me know if you need me to do anything about this.

My mate Phil gets in today and I'm pretty sure he'll come down with me and help out. So maybe he can take Dan's spot.

We need a driver!! Can anyone drive? We have the van but we need a driver for Friday and Monday, preferably one person that can do both days. Who can drive? If you could email me that'd be amazing. roxy at e h b p c . org
We need you asap as we have to put your name on the van hire.
I emailed yesterday re: driving van, no response as of yet, assuming driver no longer required?
