  • Couldn't make the TDS cos I was in France.
Looked like a good day for it.

Thursday night sounds good, can't do this week (riding down to Shropshire that afternoon) but will get along some other week.

  • Yeah man anytime you're free come over. There's gonna be at least a small group each week like. Spread the word!

  • oi im riding on thursday where we goin

  • Hale village or something, on the way to Speke I think? I'm not sure, it's ango and ste's route this week. Got a new chainring so looking forward to road testing it.

  • It's beyond Speke. It's in Halton (Widnes).

  • sweet mandicko and danny should turn up too

  • Thank you anonymous friend! Yeah there then, not as long as spt but still decent. Hoping for a pace like last week. Hilly I think though so should be a decent climb on the way there.

  • yeah we were fast last week

  • ....for smokers ;)

Woolton hill is good on the way back. If you fancy it really savage http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=53.383482,-2.860951&daddr=Woolton+Hill+Rd&hl=en&geocode=%3BFU-OLgMd9CLU_w&mra=dme&mrcr=0&mrsp=0&sz=15&sll=53.381332,-2.861595&sspn=0.01733,0.038581&ie=UTF8&ll=53.382407,-2.863226&spn=0.01733,0.038581&z=15

Haven't been riding much recently. Really good you guys are getting out and gettin numbers, TDS looked awesome.

  • yeah it was a good race im just hopein to get more racers in the next one

  • Me an ango went out sunday an sorted a good route out some hills, country lanes and a pub at the end should be decent

  • Any roadies in liverpool??

  • yeah theres the liverpool mercury cycle club they all fly about in there matching blue dolan jerseys

  • yeah theres the liverpool mercury cycle club they all fly about in there matching blue dolan jerseys

Disrail does a lot of roadieing. BTW Any of you scouse types fancy some hill stuff, look at the Fixed to the Fiddle thread on the Manchester forum. A few of us are heading up to the Cat and Fiddle next Tuesday evening.

  • Don't blaspheme chikin lad. The Century is where it's at. Basically M*****y are north liverpool, Century are South Liverpool http://www.liverpoolcentury.co.uk/

  • Oh yeah ,I saw down lark lane a poster for "Tour de Scouse" every Sunday, meeting at the Pumphouse albert dock for any type of bike. Looks good. Anyone on here organisin it, or has someone ripped the name? I might pop down on Sunday.

yeah this guy has ripped it off after ive hosted this event as a race twice over the past year he asked me if it was ok i said no but hes done it anyway and ive never seen him round or at any of my events

  • Is there any prizes??

bad form. shoulda trademarked it. He's ripped the entire tds logo from the harry quinn poster.

  • Is the route for tomorrow top secret, or can we have some vague directional info out from the pier head?

I'm only asking cos I work in speke and if it was Hale again it wouldn't make sense for me to get to the pier head only to go back the same way (and still have 1.5 dozen left to get home again).

  • i think its gonna be a mellower ride than last week

  • Is there any prizes??

its not a race or event really they just ride round pubs

and if hes ripped off my logo im gonna go sick

  • Thanks for the ride to Formby last night guys.
It was good to get out and meet you all, I'll be removing all the sand from my drivetrain tonight.

I'm still impressed by that old guy at the pub.

The twisty ride back to Ormskirk without lights was a bit crazy, especially getting dazzled by headlights and not knowing where the kerb was at 20mph!
