  • They've got some of the Milwaukee in at the mo I think, but not sure about the Deck. Jim reckons it doesn't take long to get swrve stuff in to try though.

  • Ooh! Am off Tuesday so will swing by then. Thanks again!

Then I need to find a willing family member to buy it for me ;)

  • Remembering that you're slightly smaller than Kati, the Milwaukee is huge even in XS.

But you'll be instantaneously warm after leaving the house rather than waiting 10 minutes to warm up with the Rapha Softshell.

They're perfect for off the bicycle which is what I loved about mine, too hot for riding more than 10 minutes thought.

  • Oh shoot - yes I am currently on the small side, you could say. If it's really huge, that wont work.

    Arse flaps.

Wait - it doesn't have one of those either does it?

  • One massive arse flaps.

  • ^ Ed you sound like you've been practising that. Filthy man.

I think they call it a "drop tail hem" though, "to keep you warm and respectable".

Now there's a challenge! If they don't keep you respectable, do they refund you? ;)

  • To be fair, it's very useful to not get the shock of the cold bench when you want to sit down despite looking like a shoreditchian penguin.

  • I tried on the Rapha Softshell at Condor today. So much want. Here's to hoping that Santa is feeling rather generous this Christmas!

  • Hipsters don't wear functional clothing, do they? (Or anything symmetrical, weather appropriate or modesty saving.)

  • Functional enough for us to spot them a miles away.

  • Now this looks cosy. Not the best for cycling though, maybe.

  • I ran into Maloja clothing at my LBS today. Never heard of the brand before, but they make some very cool things. For example these two cool womens items:

    .

  • I'm after a new pair of legwarmers as mine are cheap ones from Decathlon and, well, you get what you pay for. Does anyone have any recommendations?

  • I've got some nalini ones which are pretty good, and stay up well, although I've found that the grippers can get uncomfortable if I wear them for a long time. Much as I hate to admit it, I tried out Jim's assos ones and they're great. No gripper on the top, but they stay up fine under Lycra, and it means they are super comfy. I also like the assos knee warmers I've got, although the giordana ones are great too.

  • I got 3 of these in Medium up for grabs which I don't get along with*.
    Purple, Blue and Rasberry

Paid £7.50 so would like that back, otherwise I'll just return them.

Thought I would post here before I go get my soul sucked out at the Post office at lunchtime, in the week before christmas.

    They're more like a Small-Medium.

*don't fit over my bingo wings

  • Socks - thanks for the legwarmer advice!

Mands - how long are they? I would quite like at least one of them but I think I am longer in the body than you are.

  • Goes over my hips but as you said, you're longer in the body. Come try if you want.
    PM me!

  • Nic might want one of those off you Mands! I'll ask her today.

  • Great! She'll def fit into em!

  • ^^^ PM'd. Thanks mands!

  • Dibs the pale blue if Hats hasn't got there first!

  • er... Caz, I need to get some stuffs to you! I'm not feeling particularly wonderful today, but I don't suppose you fancy coming down to south-easts tomorrow evening? it's at the Kings Arms on Tooley St so just at the south end of Tower Br. or, actually, I should have some free time in the afternoon (tomorrow), I could come by your work?

  • PM'd hoefla! :-)

  • Dibs the pale blue if Hats hasn't got there first!

    Acknowledged!
Not sure what colour hats was after.

  • Fab - well Hats gets first pick, but happy to take the pale blue one off your hands if she isn't interested.
