  • @benjeebee; good man for taking in this role.

Are we saying that the TT racers will leave their appointed locations at a set time? Maybe 6:15 to give an ETA of 6:30-40 at the Toucan?

You are the one in charge, so please feel free to lay down some parameters.

(not that the cheating showers from West and North will bother with such trifles as rules...)

I think it starts at 18:24. The TT team leaders will get a text signifying the start. I'm also getting this text apparently and that's when the stopwatch starts. When you get to the pub, say hello to the scruffy fcuker in the dark grey Duffer t-shirt and pale blue tartan cap (that's me). I'll be with a dodgy eastern european - the fat man is whinging about some hangover or something.

  • benjeebee, we shall all know each from our noses ;)

  • I aint out till gone 7:30 so i'll try a few mobiles. failing that i'll head to Polo for half an hour then back west

  • A few minutes to go, but here's to Arthur!

  • East will be O'Neills on Cannon Street

well, I was there from 17:30 to 18:00. didn't see anyone looking for a ride.

  • made the first two pubs, great to see some new and old faces. thanks to everyone who helped sort my flat twice.. not broken a valve like that before.. anyway.. took bike to storage , picked up bmx cruiser, ran errands now back at work and just poured myself a pint of the black stuff.. all in all not a bad night..

  • great to see people old and new. great ride/piss up. Sorry I was not organised hope you all had fun and we can make this a yearly thing. Will put pictures up when I can.

Dimi, east crew flopped ARD only me and Bernie ended up timetrialing and winning (against ourselves)

  • Only just home as had to stop for some dodgy chicken cos some pretty girlie was carrying a pile of newspapers to use as a seat. I simply had to join her on half of the original pile.

Great to meet everyone and this should be at least a quarterly event with a death TT of 4 laps of soho sq broken by a pint of the G and then 4 more laps with a skid finish at the toucan (road closures permitting). This sounded great outside the angelic but looks pretty wank in print.

    Apologies, drunk.

  • What great evening! My head hurts. . .

  • nice to meet you all last night
must do that again some time

annual guiness ride on the 24th sept ?

  • nice to meet you chaps, looking foward to seeing the photos from Bernie. heres that keyboard cat that i was going on about:

YouTube - Play Helen off Keyboard Cat. And then join Daryl and John.

    'mazing.

hopefully see you all on the circle line ride on the 10th.

  • ha, that was a lot of fun last night. it had just the right amount of organisation for a ride based around the lovely black stuff.

nice one aleksi, bernie and benjeebee for your varying degrees of involvement. nice to meet a few new faces, the lush and lovejoy23, and sink some pintage with the rest of you lot.

sorry didn't go on to cannon st o'neills but still sank plenty of the lovely G over at the G Hound.

    til next time.

  • Great fun. Cheers for the beers in Filthy MacNasty's Jonny, that must have been a killer round!

We'll have to do this again, perhaps a few variations as well: real ale ride, cider ride, premium continental larger ride...

  • ...Baileys ride?

  • nice gs with some nice ls and gs.. cheers for the pint jonny, you's a gent.

great speaking to dicki properly at last and good to see new and old faces.. take it easy y'all.

  • i think we should wait until baileys is celebrating it's 250th before we do the baileys ride
hopefully that'll be in 200 years or so !!

  • Any pics?

I think we should do a Baileys ride until it's celebrating it's 250th.

  • Baileys Ride?! Surely that's one for the girlies? :-$

    How about a Babycham Ride?

  • Top night as always, and the craic was truly mighty.

The in house computer guru has just headed back to Uni so will bring the pictures on a CD to Saafs drinks and see if an IT literate compadre can do the business.

There are some excellent pictures, mostly fo JayGee in progressive states of disarray... unlike the rest of us!

  • Nice work boys and girls.

Here's some pics of our distraction on the way home:

    HFN

A very pretty lady that we convinced to part with her inflatable G hand

  • If you think those are scary, my pictures will give you nightmares, not to mention Alexski's black and white horror shots. I will make sure they are up in time for Halloween.
