  • thanks man , the vedio was so clear , so where is the rest???????????

  • Nice riser bars on that concept by the way WAC.

and the rest of you lot were eating my dust all night.

Who is this guy? Not into my whip? See you at the drag sprints or on the track sometime soon I hope - maybe you can engage in some more anonymous internet smack talk when I own you.

  • So I finally get to put a face to the internet hard man. Well what can I say other than your a fat, ugly, bald cunt, and you didn't fall through with any of your threats. Mate that image you try and portray does not suit you at all. Any time your ready buddy, let me know. Nice riser bars on that concept by the way WAC. Oh yeah don't forget to tell the missus Big Deano sends his love, you fucking middle aged forum hipster, grow up biatch.

and the rest of you lot were eating my dust all night.

I've no desire to ban you from my holiday, so I'll do it when I get back to London if that's alright with you.

Jesus, why do you have to take one of the best forum rides and make it the domain of your small penis.

  • Oh fuck it, from holiday seems perfectly fine... banned.

  • Hi it's Dave from Reading.

Low point was getting a puncture after some cnut decided to throw his pint glass on the road directly in front of me.
    highs were;

Drunk Peter's insults at the start
The sound of the millennium bridge
all the guys who waited to help me out at battersea park gates.
The sprint to catch up with the pack.
realizing we were miles ahead and sprinting with the dirty dozen.
    Pitch black off-roading.

And yes I was the crazy guy who cycled back to Reading. For anyone who doesn't know; from London the A4 is the flattest straightest bit of road I've known. Plenty of 'safe' RLJ's. Found a shop I could walk in to a buy a nice baguette and a litre of lucozade sport. Nearly got blown over by the occasional mini cab traveling at the speed of sound. Felt like I could have rode forever, only felt the strain on the tiny incline just as you leave Maidenhead- Felt like a mountain.

Got home at 5 with a 30min break, 56 mile rode that day.

    good times x

  • Oh fuck it, from holiday seems perfectly fine... banned.

    he he he

Hope you're having a good one DK.

About time; WAC. How's the moulton?

  • But don't forget Dave, MR NICE GUY has about 4 alias's on here....

  • he he he

Hope you're having a good one DK.

    Having a great time.

About time; WAC. How's the moulton?

The Moultons are all set up, we're about to go out and potter around Aix-en-Provence on them.

    Hmm... camera time I guess.

It's bloody hot out here. Almost 36'c this afternoon according to one of those Pharmacy LED signs.

Damn jealous of the bridges ride... the video and the commentary make it sound like it was an epic... barring Nice Guy's comment above of course.

  • But don't forget Dave, MR NICE GUY has about 4 alias's on here....

Oh and Pistanator, Vicar of Dibley on UK Gold was great :)*

*Not as good as the bridges though, FFS!!

  • But don't forget Dave, MR NICE GUY has about 4 alias's on here....

None working, and if he registers another and people report it I will ban those too.

I could ban the IP address, but I loathe doing that as it's a bit brute force.

  • A ship is a dull place without a loose cannon.

  • I had an awesome time - thanks especially to Owen for your TWO inner tubes... I owe you a beer/cider at the next ride for sure.

Library Music that vid is cool - love seeing St Pauls appear on the horizon - we're so lucky to live in such an epic city, and the bridges ride is a great way to take it all in.

  • A ship is a dull place without a loose cannon.

    Too True.

People seem to be over-sensitive to this ononelangster chap, if I'm not laughing at his posts I choose to ignore them and carry on with my life, we can all do this.

  • Great night. Looked as if only half the number that started ended up at Kew? Stops weren't so bad in my view, helped my legs recover after a few sprints plus a good chance to chat. Was in the small front pack towards the end thinking we could spin out and be the first to the line- only to see a group already there. Glad to learn you hadn't done all the bridges!

Some lovely bikes, that Chesini? in particular and I think a white Harry Quinn. Look forward to the next one.

  • Tbh, I was fed up after 45mins/an hour....too many stops, what for?! I understand stopping and or slowing down every now and then for people to catch up or if someone gets a puncture/injury but stopping every mile just so people can have a fag and a can of beer is not my idea of a good ride - hence why a few of us fucked off at Wandsworth Bridge, straight through to the end

    +1

  • The stops weren't to help people with punctures. As soon as I realized I had a puncture, most people sped off. :(

Thanks to the guys help waited out and helped, though!

  • Fixing a puncture is one man job

  • One of my favourite shots of the night.

  • Fixing a puncture is one man job

True, but leaving that man behind isn't good

  • Speed was fine tbh. I've been on faster bridges rides where people got left behind, and slower ones in the rain when we had more than 20 punctures. I only thought one of the stops last night was a bit long, but that could have been because I was tired and didn't have any beer.

This is supposed to be a social ride. If you aren't riding at a steady pace chatting, what's the point? There are other, faster rides if you want a stretch.

Of course, there's nothing to stop you haring off on your own if you want to go faster than the group.

  • my friends and i all had a great time.

thanks to those who organised us and everybody who took part.

(that mr nice guy is maybe not so nice though).

see you soon and dont forget stage 6 of the tour of east london is this wednesday.

  • Good fun ride I thought, despite having two crashes, apolgies to serk and a guy I was riding behind on the way back who was trying to avoid a drunk on the pavement.
