  • You all sound like brother to me now.

    +1

  • 270 notes? Pah, don't make me laugh - there's only one place to pick up cheaply made fixies these days, all the cool kids shop at sports direct..

  • sports direct fixed gears (shakes head)

  • especially on the steep hill of Wimbledon)

ahh, ye olde steepe hill of wimbledon.

  • I like the Guardian Bike Blog, they give us a lot of pagerank.

  • LFGSS - it's just a bunch of petty minded, insecure peoople seeking affirmation of thier purchasing habits by deriding those of others

    Forum T shirt?

Out of curiosity, has anyone here ridden a "NO Logo" yet are or the opinions based entirely on product shots and the fact that they look similar to something else.....reminds me of the Dolan / Principia confusion of 2007....

  • As someone who has one foot in both camps, I'd be happy to test ride one for a while and do an independent review. Just sayin'.

  • i rode past one this morning near cambridge circus. it was white. with salmon pink wheels and matching chain. looked far too small for the chap on it and the chain was slacker than council rats sweat pants. poorly tied cables too.

Go ahead, but don't blame us when you're riding and it spontaneously disassembles, every component shattering in a fraction of a second, the chewing gum brazing crumbling to powder like some sort of stale madeira cake and the 11 frame tubes rolling away in opposite directions. And you're just sitting there feeling a bit dazed, on a saddle on the floor in the middle of the road, debris without any logos strewn out all over the place.

Not sure but it'd be an interesting bike blog article if they got a create, a no logo and a sports direct bike and compared them..

  • I remember reading a fun piece about a group who bought sub-£100 mountain bikes and took them on a black route somewhere. Several of them didn't make it back to the car park.

  • Yeah I remember that.

    Please do this sparky!

  • I'd ride a SD bike - for the lawl's.

p.s. It is my opinion that Peter Walker is a fucknut.

  • "Courier chic for the masses"!!! Who are these fucking annoying cunts???!

  • Are you kidding? It's us. He did some research, found there was a forum for all these new aged fixie skidders. Did you know the fixed wheel was first invented in 2009? Grown out of Lance Armstrongs ball no less! Crazy world folks.

Your posts make me confused and dizzy.

  • If Halfords barely managed to put bicycles together, then I highly doubt that NoLogo will be any better.

What the fuck kind of logic is that?!

  • i love how angry superprecise gets about this stuff. makes me feel like i don't have to.

    thanks man. seriously!
