Thanks again for the help on this one guys, I did this route on sunday as it was my first weekend working at heathrow. It was about 22 miles and it took me about 1 hour 40 minutes. My route went greenwich, deptford, new cross, peckham, camberwell, over Vauxhall Bridge, then along the river till I met the A4 around hammersmith and just followed it up to heathrow.
And Matt, you were right, that tunnel to terminal 1,2 and 3 does make you go dam fast, I did notice while going through that there was also a lack of air to breath in that tunnel.

Thats a pretty damn long commute to do everyday.

I was looking for some tip to get to heathrow by bike, and this helps a lot.
Planning to go on Saturday, bit scared as a person who haven't cycled out of central London.
Hope I won't get lost!! -

picadilly line does not a london location make....
not sure my woman would be too happy about that one. I think the perk is I get two days off in the week from looking after foreign kids and having to do sports with them. I do lose my weekends though, so its not really a great perk.
