some of them weld track cogs and BB lockrings in place, and some just weld up the free wheel. they all ways brake, but this could be because they use a MIG welder and the don't really work with bike stuff. if your mate TIGed then it could hold, but i would be loathe to try it

Leave it as sold; the curryers love them.
Looking forward to seeing what I've wasted, sorry, invested, my money on later this week. -

yeah it must be left how it is...if any kind of modifications are done to it the test will be void.

idea! after the bike has been used for its initial purpose we should use it as a 'decoy' bike.
we could lock it up in a crime hot spot (that pub?) and have a few people spying on it...
we could get photos/video of the thieving cunt...we could even batter the prick.
what d'ya say? -

It had to possibly be the best bike i've ever ridden! on it two mins i get peddle strike, back wheel goes up and on landing one of the ever so pimping rear reflectors shoots off...i really, and i mean really, wanna see Jos ride this at work! ha ha ha...just anyone ride it, in any serious way, at all...once Jos is done i say add drops and left some sucker, cough i mean let some volunteer take it down to herne hill for the introduction! that would be priceless.

:S sketchy. I know a guy that made a proper ghetto conversion on his MTB - couldn't be arsed to get a new hub so he welded up the pawls in his freehub :D
