Albz, how did you managed to inspect the quality of the Create frame to able to make a comparison to the Foffa?
-
• #1478
You don't need to buy off the peg Albz. Especially not the shite that's been mentioned. Get a racer
or whatever on ebay or classifieds here for £100-200 and take it to a good recommended bike shop (search them here) and ask them to make it a single speed using good components.Well that's what i did.

Well,,,, Im currently at Uni in Loughborough and use a Charge Plug 2010 as a daily driver, but on the weekend and few weekdays I have to go to london
Come down on the train with your bike. It is quick and easy.
Driving London-Loughborough once took us around 12 hours. Though that was December 18th, in the middle of the epic snow, it is still fair to say that the drive is not worth it unless you have to carry a bunch of stuff. But if you're down for a weekend or so, just come on the train with your bike.
Now there's no need to buy a new bike so you can spend that £250 on beer. Win.

How did I miss this.
To the op I have had two creates, yes two! And they are wank. You will spend a great deal more repairing all the shit that falls/snaps off. And you will come across as a cunt to all the superawesome people on the forum. So it's really not worth it. Having said that I do love mine but only for polo and I dream of the day I can get a new polo bike and throw my current one of a bridge.
On the flipside to that you could wait a month or two and you can buy mine. The forks are bent, bb is made of dust, both wheels are buckled and I'm pretty sure the frame is cracked but you could have it for a kitkat -

... they are purely fashion items. its like fake ralph lauren, from a distance it looks alright but then the label says "rolph laverne" and the logo is someone riding a cow. the stitching will fuck up, it wont fit properly and will be terribly made.
do you know anywhere in London where I might be able to try on / purchase one of these Rolph Laverne shirts?

I'd bloody *love *a Kit-Kat right now.
