Newbie London questions

Didn't really know where to put this so I thought here would be as good a place as any.

I'm moving down to london at the end of this month for 3-6 months and just wanted advice about riding in and around the city. I'll be living In Ealing Broadway at first and then possible moving closer to the centre of London.

First things first:
How long is it gonna take me to ride from Ealing to Angel ?
Is there a lfgss scene in the Ealing/West End ?

Overall, any hints/tips about anything that'll help a lifelong northerner settle-in to the lifestyle of the big smoke would be really apprciated !

I'm aware that this is a pretty broad post and I know I'll probably get flamed for something but what the hell.

I run Ealing and the west end so you'll be paying your taxes to me.. so long as you can afford the rates, you'll be ok.

Get used to meeting arseholes and people taking the piss out of your accent. Plenty of alleys to sort them out in later should it be required.

1 - Come to west beers.
2 - Move to East London because thats where the rest of the forum are.
3 - Visit West beers 3-4 times a year.

if you are a midget you can offer hippy personal services.
otherwise you will be procuring small people for him. if you really want to become popular out west you could kill hippy in the face.
west drinks on a thursday would be a good place to meet other west london fixie skidders.
