  • Apologies if this has already been posted elsewhere another tube strike going ahead on Monday 28th November.

  • Awesome. I hope there's snow.

  • Might pretend like i can't get in if theres snow

  • brilliant.

train ticket risen, cars becoming more expensive.

Just dangle a bike in front of them should be enough to sell it.

  • Awesome. I hope there's snow.

    God no.

Considering the level of cycling skill on show last strike day I really hope for the sake of the stryclists that there's no snow.

  • Awesome! I was wondering when the next annual strike will be.

Great news for bicycle shops in London, we made so much money on selling Bromptons last time.

  • Best be stocking up then. Can you give out free cycle training classes at the same time please?

  • Just ordered a crate of Bromptons to get through this

  • And a salvo of hi-viz.

  • Yes!

  • 48 days would be better

  • Got an interview in Aldgate / silicon roundabout on Wednesday = I fucking love startups!

Got to be there for 9:30am from Brixton.
I can take the bus but still reckon im never gonna make it.

Options? (can't cycle in my suit)

  • Is the overground still running? Get it from Clapham High St to Shoreditch or Hoxton, and walk?

  • Bus should be fine if you leave early enough.

  • Cycle with suit in backpack, go to cafe, change into superman, then attend interview.

  • Leave at 8, walk.

  • Then I need to get back to brixton to inorder not to get sacked from the job i already have..

  • Hence suit in rucksack, cycle, cafe, interview, cycle back, save current job.

  • I like to arrive at interviews calm.. collected and off my nuts on coffee.
Hot, sweaty in a crumpled suit would put me right out of my a-game.

    But... you might be right.
Where is safe to park a bike near Aldgate tube?

  • Then leave early and cycle slower.

  • Train to Victoria, Boris Bike to Aldgate at a leisurely pace.

  • Working from home to keep out of the mayhem.

  • Walk to herne hill, direct train to Farringdon, walk.

  • Well the forecast for Wednesday looks like heavy rain and strong winds, so I doubt we'll see hordes of fluoro-clad occasional strikecyclists wobbling away from London's junctions.

Having said that it seems like an excellent day to test our remote login facility from a reclining position on the sofa. DSE workstation assessment be damned
