  • When I skated Malaga 2 1/2 years ago easyjet were cool but the rules have changed as people have said.

Previous trips have always been dependent upon the attendant, some say "yay" others a strong "NAY!"

But when I went to NY just over a year ago they were pretty strict; boards must be in with your main luggage!

  • I'd get a bag big enough to contain your board. I had to go through the pain of happening to glance out of my window seat and seeing my board, at the top of the 'fragile' cage on the runway in the pissing rain.

So yeah, a bag big enough to contain your board OR your board wrapped in bin liners and put through the fragile section.

  • Used to take my record bag on board and was no problem whatsoever. I could've easily beheaded 40 passengers.

  • we are talking about carry on,
skateboad in oversized baggage? you talking back in the day of 10" wide decks?

it was a 7.75 but, they made me do it!

  • stick it in your luggage to check in .. dont take it on as hand luggage.

or fly with someone else, swiss air allow free snowboard carriage

from now on i fly swiss!

  • disguise it as a bomb.

  • i originally read in the timesonline article:

Many of the items on the new European Commission list are already banned, including forearms, kites, scissors and arrospok spray pants.

i see where they are coming from regarding the scissors but come on..

  • Ryanair suck dick. I refuse to fly with those cunts.

  • Errrrr, take the trucks off, put it in your bag, simples!!
