shut up.
Please do, as I have said before, you are all about making money.
Take your wares to ebay where they belong and stop trying to rip off forum peeps with your over estimated 'value'

gizmond, your a nightmare but funny with it, someone was selling nearly the same wheels but on tubs last week for £250.no comment made about the price.you should get job that keeps you busy in an afternoon rather than sticking your nose in.value is an opinion.
i'm sure there's a job going at christies auction house as you have such a keen valuers eye.
keep up the good work son.

Difference is gizmond is a part of this forum and contributes, turns up to events, helps people out. You're just a peddler who doesn't like getting called on your overpriced wares. You don't even have the plums to donate to the forum you make your grubby pennies from.

markyboy.i've donated and i voted for higher fees for regular sellers, which i happily paid. get your facts right before you slag people.it's very childish to slag people if you don't know what your talking about.
we've been through this debate a couple of months ago.see all the stuff about fees to use the forum and be a member etc.
you don't understand the market place, if i put an item at a price that buyers think is too high, people don't buy and i don't sell the item.i lose out on a sale, the only person who loses is me.it is then it's up to me to lower the price or keep the item.
i'm not forcing people to buy, it is the persons choice, that's is what you fail to understand
it's called a free market, if you went down bond street and you thought things were expensive would you start slagging off the shop keepers.
no, you just leave the shop.
if you see a thread that you don't like just move to another, don't get all moody and start slagging people.
there's nothing wrong in being a peddler, i've been in business for 20 years, no complaints until now.

you are just scavenging on the forum, you should join hilary on ebay. you even had the gutso to deny that you just come here to sell stuff in the beginning. you're just a greedy pot bellied middle aged man trying to stuff his pockets by ripping people off.
for the record his ebay username is modularminkey, i'd avoid at all costs! although i'm sure you have multiple usernames to scam ebay as well.

he does have some lovely eames stuff for sale though
yum. (if expensive)

i'd hardly call 38 and 10 stone pot bellied and middle age but i loving the imagery.i think you have me confused with hilary who as a very large belly.

ha! peddle away mate fair play.
I still agree that up to £150 would be a more 'forummey' price.
I remember when this place was all fields... -
• #42
how much did you pay for the wheels at the jumble??
-
• #43
I think the issue here is that big organ is here as a business person and the forum was concieved as more of a community (to my knowledge?) where like minded individuals could pass on and trade the odd component when they didn't need it rather than coming here on a regular basis with goods bought cheaper elsewhere.
I have bought 2 pairs of bars from the man and can say nothing but good things about communication, speed of posting etc. I have no problem in that respect.
But if you are here as a commerical enterprise I would say that you should expect a tougher time. Your prices will be questioned more than others because it is known you are here for profit.
Your whole post about 'understanding' the market illustrates the commerical nature of your ventures here.

does this mean i can have the wheels for £140 and a joint £20 donation to the forum? ; )
just deleted link as it keep linking through to myebay, and thats private.
there you go, plus i sold the second one i had to the next bidder.one went to france and one went to taiwan.i've been selling loads to taiwan.maybe there copying it.
that was a one off as there's no way it's worth that.
i can't be bothered with the rest of the thread, if you want to buy or make an offer that fine.if not shut up, it's really boring.
we all find a cheap ebay deal every now and again, the reason you mention them is because you bought them cheap and not for there value.that's great, more power to you, but you can't expect me to sell for cheaper prices when i know the value.
there's a set in blb for over £300 used.
anyway enough nonsense.i may just stick some veloflex's on them and carry on riding them.
