  • I bet you sound terrible too.

Not sure. I doesn't answer me any more :(

  • I never had sex with that parrot

  • Maybe it was a macaw then?

  • Dodo

  • Luffa Complex drops (theres a spray and tablets-but not tried them)

Its a ballache and takes a week to kick in, but used it for 2 Spring/Summer/Autumn (I used to have the kind of Hayfever that put me in bed)

Since using, its almost dissipated completely

  • +1 for luffa complex. My old boss introduced it to me last year when I was dying in the office and it made all the difference.

  • Do you guys buy it online? I'm going to be more prooactive about mine this year. Especially now I live in the countryside

  • Nah blud, wholefoods init.

  • Had no problems for the last 3 years, after suffering about 15 years of hayfever hell. Smugly thought "that's it, no more for me".

Went to the south of France a couple of weeks ago and the summer symptoms returned, put it down to lack of immunity to some local pollen. It disappeared on return to London, but now I'm back into a full-on, sore-eyes, sneezing-fit abyss. Bugger.

  • Urgh, I'd been OK up until tomorrow and went for a ride. At about 4 pm it hit me like a fucking train and I've been sneezing and had itchy eyes since. Luffa seems to have worked up to a certain point but I think the strong wind over the last few days has brought clouds of pollen in from the country.
Regardless, I feel like crap right now.

  • I'm okayish. I can tell the pollen count's soared, but I'm comfortable. Morning regime has been:

Beclometasone Dipropionate nasal inhaler - 1 squirt in each nostril since beginning of April (well under recommended dose)

    Loratadine* - 1 per day during mid-April to mid-May

    Cetirize* - 1 per day during mid-May to Mid-June

*these are very similar, but I like to avoid being on either one of them for too long without a break

Sodium Cromoglicate eye drops - 1 drop in each eye since start of June (well under recommended dose)

I'll come off the drops when they finish - probably mid-July; the main pills when the next box finishes - again, probably mid-July; the inhaler approx early-August.

Basically, get in there before the pollen does, increase medication during grass high season (mid-May to late-June), slowly back off during July. It's worked for years now, and I don't feel fucked up from the meds, though underdosing and varying helps. Just a one minute routine in the morning, while the kettle boils or whatever.

  • I've had it for years but, touch wood, haven't suffered this year.
I would be double dropping chlorphenamine maleate (piriton) all the summer.

What a did find while I was suffering was that a liberal smearing of vaseline up the nostrils and around the eyes before leaving the house would catch quite a bit of the pollen and stop it getting up in you.
Also having a quick rinse in the shower when you come into the house washes off the days pollen and dusts that would continue to get up your nose while you were indoors.

Same story for me, symptoms had been much better the last few summers then a fortnight ago I went to Spain and now it's back with a vengeance. I try to alternate years with either Loratardine or Citrozine Dihydrochloride although Citrozine makes me very groggy I feel it alleviates better... I also take the tablet before going to bed so I sleep off most of the drowsiness with the trade off that come the following evening I can feel the itchs and leaky nose start.
No nasel sprays anymore, I tried Beconase (sp?) and I used to get nose bleeds in the middle of the night, very disorientating waking up covered in blood!

  • Itchy fucking throat

    <<<<<<

  • Making horrible throat scratching noises.

    Makes for an awesome contraceptive.

Oh well back to the internet.

They don't complain there (...well not at me).

  • Argh! My face is melting off! Cocking flower sexballs right in my nose.

  • Has been dire this week, yesterday especially. The plants keep coming in my mouth.

  • Fine in Trafford, sneezing uncontrollably in Bury. #headingbacksouth

  • ugh. I was supposed to be riding tonight and I am dying instead. thanks fucktrees.

  • I have some amazing jack & jills that I brought back from Spain. I shall import more...

  • ^ dibs

  • Do care to share. I'm getting my allergy tests done soon (hopefully). It's out of control at the moment and I'm not sure whether it's dust or pollen. I've got a runny nose for most part of the year but it's beyond a joke at the moment.
