  • Contador for today, with great performance by Wiggins and "Chuck" Wegelius will be a great domestique to Evans who will let him down on the upper slopes, unsure about Sastre, Armstrong will lose time, Schlecks will be solid but no fireworks....not sure if this is prediction, guess or hope.

  • Brilliant I was about to ask the same myself, I've got this afternoon off so someone make a plan and I'll be there!

  • Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwin get my vote. Plus ITV4 edit their highlights better, rather than just showing the last 30k, which is what Eurosport often do.

Liggett and Sherwen are a parody now. They just commentate in cliches.

  • i need to sneak off and watch this too. anyone know of somewhere in the vicinity of southwark that might be showing it?

and ligget is colour blind. i heard him mention cav "in yellow" at least once yesterday.

There's a pub, the name of which I forget, which is just over Blackfriars bridge that a colleague and I sneaked out to last year to watch the Hautacam stage. It's on Queen Victoria Street and is some kind of sports bar.

  • thanks dude. just googled it. sounds like the cos bar?

if i can get away early i'll head over there.

  • Yeah, I think that's it.

  • Right, just spoke with Paul and we're meeting for a ride at 1130. I imagine we'll be about an hour (maybe more, probably more) and then I'll come back here to have a look. At this point in time I'm thinking we;ll probably head to Charlotte Street to see if they're showing and report back on room/space. I'll then get on the HTC (note: NOT iPHONE) and let you guys know if it's worth coming to or if we're moving off to the Offside.

See you lads when Armstrong has been involved in a break away! ;)

  • ^nice one jon, will watch this space and see you later

  • Looking for a live feed.. anyone?
Looks like the whole rest of the world can stream for free from reputable sites except for the British.

  • coverage on that link won't start until around 12:30 I don't think..

  • Thanks but that is highlights of stage three and stage four streaming..

  • Yeh, as Will says - the proper coverage on that doesnt start until 12:30
