Just disappointed that the yellow jersey didn't try for the stage on the mythical Ventoux
Just to set things straight: Mont Ventoux exists, honest, it does. I've ridden it.
There may well be myths about it, but, heigh-ho... -

Although in a very real sense, he did. There was no need to follow A.Schleck's every move, with 4 minutes in hand. By doing so, he gave himself every chance of taking the stage win, had Schleck brought him up to the escapees.

Confusing the meanings of myth and legend is perhaps the least of the common linguistic failures which plague internet fora.

Very fast on the re-write on 'linguistic'...

Again - no.
I felt fucking drained by the end, just watching it. You do realise they were cycling up a mountain that's claimed lives, don't you? No-one's going to break from the group at 30mph, and then hold tempo for 20mins @ 10%. Even if the drugs existed to facilitate it, the flesh remains too weak.
There were constant attacks throughout the field.
Which was impressive given the occasional 33kph headwind.

Armstrong reckons the wind was less strong than advertised:

From Wiggins' twitter:

Well I thought it was a great race. Some of those guys looked like they were gonna die. Bradley Wiggins holding onto 4th place. He is about 6'3" see him afterwards. He couldn't speak or move. Fantastic effort

Bradley Wigan; what a man.
He's obviously given up pies, to become a climber.
Think on.

• #2242
He should stick with the pies and beer.. at least he could win a stage.

How is it baseless innuendo? Do you honestly believe that Contador and Armstrong are clean? Why the fuck would they change if they thought they could continue to get away with it? Which it appears they can.
It is baseless!! Lemond said in his last article it was up to contador to PROVE he was innocent by telling the whole world him V02 max, training techniques etc...
Why should he?? Does Yamaha give you the technical specs of Rossi's bike before the MotoGP?? Does Usain Bolt writing down his training schedule??
NO!!
And I know for a fact that there's a lot British Cycling do to get ready for the Olympics that no other national federation do to their athletes which aren't in the media.
Fucking hell, the idiots have bred...
Well tell your mum to keep he legs closed....
I smell a rat...

I'm not going into it on a public forum but don't think you can beat world pursuit records on kellogg's branflakes...

Why not go in to it on a public forum? You are anonymous here, you can say what you like with no repercussions. If you are going to act like Mr Smartypants then at least give us a little juicy morsel of gossip, there isn't much point in claiming you know something we don't if you keep quiet about it.

It's almost as if he's putting forward 'baseless innuendo'. But we know he doesn't approve of that.

the bike will have to pass scrutineering and will have bore diameter, stroke, inlet and exhaust dimensions, wheelbase, weight etc all within set limits by the governing body.
the fuel will also be tested before and after the race.
I'm just disappointed that the yellow jersey didn't try for the stage on the legendary Mont Ventoux
