On french TV the host just asked Nocentini if he was allowed to sleep with his wife on the tour but the way he frazed it was 'how often does you wife have the pleassure of sleeping with you?' To which Nocentini replied 'She has the pleassure once or twice'
you had to be there

It is, however, noticeable that other teams are not really helping Columbia chase down breaks. You can understand their reluctance given Cavendish's dominance. It's likely that in the some of the remaining flat stages we'll see some breakaways succeed, especially as the Columbia riders tire.

And, to top all of that, I forgot about the time trial.
Stand at ease.

Stephen Roche seemed to think that Columbia will sit back on tomorrow's stage if there's a decent breakaway as they'll mop up the intermediate sprints and possibly the stage win (keeping Cav in green) which also means they're not too tired for the upcoming mountains..
Apparently Voeckler was born around the area of tomorrow's stage too so might be a shout for a breakaway stage win..

Most pro-tour riders speak a variety of european languages.. It's quite funny watching 'Overcoming' and hearing Bjarne Riis mixing them all together

He rode as an amateur in France, turned pro with a French team and lived there for at least 5 years. I'd be more shocked if he didn't speak French!

Cancellara has the ultimate stealth bike but I don't know if the UCI will allow it:

Did I just watch yesterday's stage again by accident?
Oh wait, Cav said something different (while still arrogant).

A hell of a lot of people round the world speak more than one language, what of it? considering he's lived in France it would be bloody rude if he didn't!...

I'm bored of Cav winning all the time, proud but bored....
Is the competition there? it's not like the days of McEwen, Zabel, Cipollini, Jan Kirsipuu, Tom Steels, Cooke, Moncassin all battling it out together is it? Boonen and Freire clearly aren't their normal selves this year.

Really? I quite like that.

Good; because it's not really true anymore. English is replacing French as the language of cycling.
-

I think French used to be the language of the peleton but, in a reflection on the real world, it's been replaced by English now.

We all speak french at Herne Hill and Palace...
but really, has it changed? granted that there are more anglophones, but don't they have to "fit in or fuck off?" oh, I forgot about Lance.
