Next year's hosts would be well advised to work out the positions before they make announcements.

I don't understand those results. We were in the winners bracket longer than some of the teams that are placed above us, and we only lost 2 games in the entire tournament. Was it worked out on goal difference or something?

Either way we're well chuffed coming 12th out of 40 of the best teams in Europe!

anyway it's not important, if we wanted a better placing we shouldn't have thrown that game against malice for the easier route to the final through the losers bracket.

Yea, it was worked out first by where you exited the double elimination. Then goal difference amongst the teams that exited at the same place. Saturdays games plays no role in the final outcome, they were played just to seed the double elimination which is the real tournament.
