Thanks Cambridge for putting up such an awesome tourney, despite BAH Humbug's double loss :) I still can't get over the trophy, it looks great on the shelves of the Northgate.

Cambridge, you put on an amazing day of polo - thank you! Great court, great cakes, great polo, and that trophy is in a league of its own! We were blown away that it was already engraved just a couple of minutes after the final.
The final game with the Rotten Apples was fantastic - lots of laughs as well as quality polo - and my Cosmic³ partners were awesome, and played brilliantly all day.Champagne for my real friends; real pain for my sham friends.
Bright times. I love polo. x

wow interesting to read the scoreboard! BAD beaten by Los Conos??! Who are Fen Boy Three? Who are the TOFTS? Malice beaten by Netto...
-
• #295
Ha, read it again Yorgo !!
Freaky Malice - Me, Lebowski and Vidal, more Pique Maxx than Malice !
Fen Boy Three were one of the Cambridge teams and did really well, rode their luck sometimes but deserved to get as far as they did.
Tofts were from Oxford, didn't talk to anyone and got pretty much ignored before getting whupped by Cosmic then the Apples. -

Fen Boy Three - team from Cambridge
TOFTS - team from Oxford, they play in Shoreditch last years, and they got Mike and Malice out of the last Oxford tourney. they play in MTB and in the disc wheels they have cross horses -

Perhaps they just didn't want to speak to you Andy! I spent a lot of time talking to them, as I always do when we meet at various polo tournaments!
I love the way they play, very good at reading the game and always close on their opponents. You could a learn a lot from them. They were very unlucky to have been beaten by Apples.

OK OK but what about BAD?

• #299
