It has very steep banking for an outdoor track, maybe why you get pedal-strike, but this shouldn't be a problem with a track frame...
The amount of tracks we have in London is shit given the size of the population...think I've said this before, my brother lives in Nothern France, there are 14 tracks within a 50km radius of his house!!

It is very steep and high. I have the equipment apart from a helmet which I need. I agree Winston I might have started earlier if more tracks were available in the UK. Here government is more decentralised hence the opportunity to steal money at lower levels through building contracts. I will check the indoor velodrome too, the world champion is Mallorcan I beleive so there must be a club

Jesus that half killed me i was finished after ten Km and keeping those lines aint easy I thought I was reasonable fit. Oh dear. I shall persevere.

yep, there's a trick with steeply banked tracks where you have to tilt your head but lean the body the other way, kind of thing

tony tauler trains around your parts I believe. he was racing at (our!) herne hill earlier this year

The!!! Toni Tauler, he had some great results, silver medals in the world TT in 2001/2002 etc I think, rode with Chiapucci at Ros Mary Amica Chips in 1998 as well.

been to the one in Sineu... was fun! Now that i know there are more, next time I'm out in Mallorca will do some exploring.
Son Moix is the one I am referring to. Gonna go tomorrow and start practicing.
