It's just around my corner, and I cannot come and say hello, due to my back ache still keeping me in the same room on a yoga mat. Absolutely gutted, would have loved to say hello to some forum people for the first time :(

"Hipster music"?
I don't know what I was thinking. Kicking soul tunes from back in the day when music meant more to me than it does now. Maybe it's true that we turn into what we hate.
Glad I turned out, and I wished I brought my lights so I could stay longer.
Laters.

Most memorable points of the night for me... :)
"Can you turn the bass down please"
"Can you turn the music down please"
"Can you turn the music down"
"Turn the music down"
"Turn it down"If we do this again can it be in a place where the people who are supposed to be there for the music are in the same room as the music....and where there isn't volume limits...and where the right speaker doesn't cut out...and where the crossfader fades and isn't just a switch.
It's always nice to see everybody, especially people i haven't seen for a while, but the bright times thread is about music for me...so when everybody is outside and the sound system is shitty it's a bit of a shame.
I'm probably just a bit grumpy.....so long as everyone else enjoyed themselves i suppose it's all good.

Nothing worse than playing on a shit system, with parts not working properly, with people not arsed about the music, with management asking to lower the volume/equalisers.....

i had a great time. the music was definitely excellent - but mighta been better music-wise if it were a venue where people were more inclined to stay inside. that said, the company was great and the music was very hear-able outside and made for a really good night. cheers everybody.
