awesome ride to everyone who came along.. I enjoyed it thoroughly (even the bits I didn't really enjoy at the time).. Is it just me or does Hyde Park corner feel like a long long time ago?
Highlights: various smiles from people in support of us guys just out on bikes which made a difference from every other Claphamian and Balhamian shouting incomprehensible drunken bollocks, leaving the ride to find 500 yards down the road that things weren't as bad as they seemed and then rejoining, getting lost and being helped by a cabbie, being one of the chosen to hang around in South Park and hear werewolves whilst trying to find our way to Gatwick, whizzing past people using only a freewheel and some gravity, double trouble fried breakfast and a lovely train journey back with Damo and Guy!
My only gripe is that the sun rose whilst we were in the garage of Gatwick but that can't be blamed on anyone and it didn't majorly detract from anything.
Also, touch rugby was much harder after a 'warm up' ride to Brighton.

I'm looking forward to seeing them. You seemed to be pausing at all the nicest places for c few snaps. Get any nice ones going up Ditchling?

Also, whilst heading back to home from Victoria I spotted the chap that left the cafe early heading in to work.. Hey man!
One last also, I missed your name but for the chap with the Gios: you have a gorgeous bike!

Thanks again to oliver. Top ride well conducted.
Hauled WAY too much stuff on the surly last night and am now reaping the agonizing reward. Still, its all good practice. To all those who rode it fixed you are truly hardcore.

Excellent, excellent, excellent ride.
Excellent organisation; thanks Oliver.
Excellent company; thanks everybody.
Excellent weather; thanks whoever.Pure comedy charging around the service roads of Gatwick trying to find a sneaky way in. Absolute beauty of Ditchling Beacon in the morning sunshine, despite feeling like my lungs were on fire. Spinning like mad with very heavy feeling legs on the decent into Brighton. Just some of the highlights for me.

+1 one to the above.
Excellent and horrific in equal measure. After cramping up during the final breakway spin into Brighton, my knees and calves feel like someone has set about me with a baseball bat.
A trip of two halves really - dark and a bit slow to Gatwick, speedy, misty and beautiful after.
Sorry had to rush off after Ditchling, but the kids were calling.
Feel a bit shit, but sure that all will look rosier after a bit of kip.
Cheers Oliver. Fab jobs at the back Damo and Guy. Well done those who made it up Ditchling in one and nice to meet a few new folk.
Laters!

A long night-day in a nice well done route.
I'm still in jet lag and i'm confused between reaching 38.5 mph down to Reigate and losing my cherry up to Ditchling.
The weather was fantastic..and a lot of nice folks, not many problems and a good chat on the way back with Simon.
Great Ride Oliver!
@ Wibble chap+Gios = me (nice to meet you too)
