Where can I get a visp frame/frameset? :( Not on the bay anymore and I'm in London.
No more Visps :(

Are you just expressing your sadness or do you actually know more about this?
-

The seller's store does not list them, so I gather they are not sold anymore.
I own a pink TRX 790, but was toying with the idea of buying a blue one as well. Just for the hell of it. So yes, there is sadness in play as well.

I suppose if anyone really wants one I might have a 56cm ST one lying around......

This is my Visp Dragon GT. Seems OK for £100, not too heavy; though had to file some rough edges in the BB shell.
It's a 56cm, tyres are 25c to give an idea of the clearances- could definitely get some 28c in there

Visps can still be purchased in taobao. You can google how to buy there because an intermediaire it's needed (taobao it's the Chinese ebay and requires a Chinese bank account).
If somebody here has a size 54 blue visp, please mp me ;)

Anybody try their luck with Taobao? Absolutely wanted to try building a Visp GT Dragon, but then they disappeared from the web completely. Taobao also does not seem to have them, rather the Leader copy alu frames from Visp. What a shame...

One buddy of mine purchased a visp from taobao recently. He spend around 180-200 euros (including taxes and postage to spain). So it's as safe as ebay, just a bit more complex.

Seems like alot of effort for a visp?

Maybe if you live in GB, where do you have a great culture of track cycling. I really envy the "Classified and shopping" subforum and your local ebay. Old track frames at good prices.
In southern europe there it's no such culture, good weather implies road biking culture, so it's harder to find a track frame at good price. Maybe a visp it's the best way to go for a cheap but good frameset.
And they look HHSB
