Glastonbury sucks. I lived in the town most of my life till I moved here. Music was good till about 05, then started going downhill, although there are some beauties to be had. But you can still get a better festival, better weather and less dicks at other festivals for less money.
Also, it's run by Mean Fiddler, who knocked the astoria down (and fired the original booking organisers). Boo. -

Boo.who cares? its choice, glasto....other than Benicassim (Valencia) is probably the best festival ive ever been too, its huge and you can get lost in it, its more of a vibe thing if any and i cant remember ever seeing such a diverse public,

i think overexposure is my problem perhaps.
-
• #20
perhaps? went brighton great escape last week and think some of the brightonians get a bit annoyed with all the hipsters ruling the streets, fucking ace time though, only problem is lining up to get in places all the time, weather was ace though
-
• #21
yeah.
still, it's easy to get in, if you do it properly.
one of my friends went in a couple of nights before they shut the site with a bit of food, loo roll and a bivy bag and didn't get caught. there's a wood they can't cut through with the fence as well. -

camping, mud, no bathroom. ew. give me ATP with a chalet any day ;)
-
• #23
exactly my thoughts. got in free this year too.
-
• #24
really want to hit up the MBV one too, but nada money atm
-

...and the glasto lineup is pretty pedestrian. Pitchfork has the best lineup this year that I've seen - seriously considering it.
Not sure about MBV ATP. Went to 'fans strike back', and the lineup was pretty patchy. best thing was lydia lunch's spoken word piece.
Anyone going? tickets still on sale!
