  • RIPster inflation?

    Sorry

    ^nice frame

  • I happened to be selling a Dave Russell frame last year during the week he passed away.

The priced jumped from an expected £150 to past 400 quid, probably because of his death.

Quinn is a more well known builder so you could achieve more if you wanted to.

  • PM sent.

  • the Tour De Scouse had Harry as it's image on both races, apparently Harry was told of this and he was happy about it.
    Spoke card price increase!!!!!

  • Now I'm inclined to think this frame is a Carlton Flyer after all- looking closely the fork crown is exactly the same, and so too are the lugs, the rear ends are very much what I refer to as non PC ends of the time, ie not quite the shape of Campag ones.

The fork rake is Carlton, and they were chromed frames....

The Harry Quinn (usually refered to a Hairy Qui..) would be a spray and some stickers- he, as others did, put his stickers where he wished.

I had a 22.5", maybe its my old one???

Worth a fortune if you ask me....and its a dream ride, solid as a rock, and mine won a Bass Charrington 20 km @ Paddington 1971 ish

It's beautiful pal aye and I reckon could probably destroy a nation.

  • Anyone any idea where I can get some HQ decals?

need to work out the age of the frame to see if its a walton road or england head badge, the serial number is often on the BB shell which will help with the dating

  • there's someone on the t'internet does them- any name etc, I'll see if my man who knows these things can say where he got his Principia ones from, mate of mine had Kellnago made up, Pinnyrello too for his Mrs

I'm just sitting looking at it at the moment, and have been for about an hour!!!
