£180 is unbeleivable gizmond- you practically gave them away!
I just priced up the ones I'm building (and keeping)
£100 for Gran Compes (i.e. not as good as the DAs
£65 for NOS Omega Vs (campyoldy) + postage
£21 black spokesand that's without Tyres, tubes, rim tape, etc...
In that respect I offer £150, your shame on the forum should devalue your product.

i'll offer you £149 you're shame on the forum should mean that offers are in reverse. and if you get to freecycle...well that's karma

Nope, have been at work today with no internet access, as our office in Tooley Street is flooded (More London).
No im not embarresed and i do care!
Apologies if ive annoyed or offended people on the forum, those who have bought off me in the past have got excellent deals, speak to Bernie, Oddjob62 or Hamster who i gave away a free sun solo including wheelset i got from the forum.
Yes, i bought the wheelset from gizmond for £180 and have since paid £15 (from Gizmond) for an EAI 15T Cog and £10 (from eBay) for a Dura-Ace Lockring. So if your being picky these should be for sale for £205 (or £210 if you include the new tube as the rear had a pinch flat).
If you feel im trying to rip you all off then fine, but i'm in no rush to sell and could get a hell of a lot more if i put these up on eBay....
Calling me a , well cheers for that! Good luck every trading with me in the future.
So if your interested they are up for sale for £200 now, if interested PM me or post on this thread, if not please dont bother.
Im not in London Bridge until Monday, so collection is from Edgware or Stanmore (NW London).

My issue with this is not what you are charging, it is your lack of community spirit.
I gave you a good deal, you should pass that good deal on in a similar way.
I could have got much more for them too, but in the spirit of the community I gave someone (who, as it turns out is somewhat ungrateful) a good deal and you are simply trying to make as much money as you can.
Also, they are now much more used. When you bought them from me they had been used for a couple of hours on an indoor track. You used them for 3 months through the winter and spring to commute and want back more money than you paid!

Im sorry but i dont agree with what you are saying.
You sold them to me for £180 and asked for more just before i came to pick them up, which i rejected. I had no intention of selling these wheels when i bought them and therefore fitted a cog and lockring (which took me 3 weeks to get, for various reasons).
Times change and i have more recently picked up a bianchi pista, which i use daily for commuting. I have another track bike on the way, which has a good set of track/training wheels, therefore this wheelset has become redundant.
Calling me ungrateful is a little unfair. You dont know me personally and im deffinately not this kind of person. I have looked after these well and have put very limited milage on the wheelset and not abused them in anyway. If something is sold at a good/cheap (if you must) price and taken care of well and then sold on, there is no reason why it should be priced down.
If its so much of a problem i will happily keep the wheelset. But i feel someone could get a lot of good use out of a frankly excellent wheelset, instead of them sitting in my garage collecting dust for the next however many months/years.
I really dont know why i am justifying myself still, its obvious people buy things on forums and sell them on at a higher value reguarly. I very rarely do this, but fair enough you have picked up on this and are pissed off.
IMO theres no point selling them for less then £200, as i couldnt go out and buy a wheelset half as good and might aswell keep them for a future build

I knew there was a sensible explanation to this.
exactly what is the explanation? he replaced the inner tube when he got a flat...and decided that counted to the price of the wheels... and also i don't think he'd get much more on ebay for these wheels. the prices on ebay are not that crazy (i got a bob jackson last week for 65, a set of cxp33 for 100....). so making that excuse is rubbish. he also got a full bike for £355 with similar wheels so i'm not sure why he thinks he'll get more than 200 on ebay (maybe post in ebay finds might help the price up!!)
i'm with gismond on this. and enjoying myself (i'm not going anywhere corny!!
haha, muggy little cunt!
