Surely after the fifth time of asking you'd realise that no one here has ridden the saddle? Your question has been answered numerous times. The pre aged saddle will not be much different from the rest of brooks stuff, apart from maybe a shorter break in time. You're clearly not looking hard enough on ebay as there are plenty of worn in brooks there:
If you had bothered to spend 10 seconds to search pre aged brooks on google you would have brought up this page:
http://www.sheldonbrown.com/harris/saddles/brooks-b17.htmlYou keep banging on about them not being the wrong shape, this is irrelevant because the saddle wears to the shape of the individuals arse. As has been said before just buy one and ride it, asking the same question a stupid amount of times, and expecting us to do the legwork for you wont get you anywhere..
And if you ask that bloody question one more time, so help me god..
And breath.

Hey bike rider, are you down for the Circle Line ride this Saturday?

Yeah but that saddle is hilarious.
This is the reason people hate brooks, isn't it. Cos of people who think ^^ that's just about broken in.
So fucking retardee I can't believe it.
USE THE FUCKIN TENSION BOLT! DUH!
When should you start using the tension bolt - aside from the saddle looking a bag-o-shite as above, what are the first indicators that more tension is needed.
Skully - what cover - if any do you recommend for the rain - I have been using the brooks cover that came with the saddle & it seems to do a fairly reasonable job in all but torrential rain - or have you considered extending your range of brooks related services into the construction of a decent cover.... just a thought & dibs first one pls.

Just seen this, sorry.
Use the tension bolt when your saddle starts to become softer than you'd like it to be. I had a new B17 in honey that was lovely and comfy from the start, ridden about three times a week for 18 months or so, then started to get too soft, turned the bolt a little, and now as good as new.
Saddle cover: plastic bag, keep it tucked under the saddle so it's there when you need it. Easy peasy.

That's not worn in, that's worn out !
Oh, actually I have one just like that, its completely fucked, so perfect for a goose like you Mr bike rider. £1000 plus postage and its a bargain in anyones' language.
Oh and BTW you ignoramus, Brooks are NOT made in London, I know its a small country, but Smethwick in the West Midlands is NOWHERE NEAR LONDON.
Who is this idiot ??

If you'd just taken the collective advice and bought a new B17 three months ago, when you first asked, and had used it enough, it would probably be nicely worn in by now...
