Have we leap-frogged the TdF site, then?

Only temporarily I'm sure.

Since when has popular opinion equated to being right?
Well, If I'm right about everything, and I said it then it must.
Oh hang on, that's a big 'if'.

P.S. VB/Velocio/DK is a benevolent dictator. But he doesn't get paid for it. Sadly.

Everybody pays according to how often they have posted. Cost per post is multiplied by fifty if you have more than 20,000. If you don't cough up, your bikes will be confiscated and covered in stickers of Velocio's choice, then dumped in a canal somewhere in the West Midlands.

can we change the title of this thread to "cough up cnuts"?????

I think that Hippy should threaten to lead a break away sub-forum and convince stalwarts such as Tynan and OnOneLangster (add in unfunny latest name here) to join this new sub-forum.
Resulting in a new two tier forum format for the 'aves and 'av nots. All the addicted forum nutters (loving that moniker by the way :) would then side with them. Uproar from the non-addicted community and calling in the mediators to bring sense and urgent need for a compromise.
Cue WiganWill to act as intermediary and bring some sense and calm to it all. Aided by GA2G, who will write up a list of pros and cons.
Ending in complete satisfaction for having a subscription.
Peace reigns, VB wins the nobel peace prize and everyone receives a free LFGSS sponsored Arrospok for Christmas (except Tynan who doesn't believe in Elves).

tell you one thing, I wish sellers in the classifieds were able to delete or close their own threads once the item/s were sold.
the inability of some posters to simply spend an extra microsecond checking the date before posting their desperate desires for ownership is mind boggling.
-
• #539
I don't think that would change much.. We already have the ability to edit the first post detailing what has/hasn't 'sold' but most can't be arsed.
I agree though, might be worth making the date a bit more prominent for those who aren't quite as quick.

Bring it.
I will be charging £5 for each body that needs removing from my lawn and a further £5 for any blood splatter cleanup required. Reading my posts now incurs a 5p per read fee, payable to hippymademesuckhisballs@paypalpoo.com.au

Close I reckon, not delete - nice to see what's been and gone.

I've only been following these forums for around 3 months now but would happily pay up.
Also in terms of protecting buyers could we not do something much like fleabay where by the money isn't received untill both the seller and receiver both say so?

i think that issue was sorted on the "sale gone wrong" thread- the number of cases where there is any sort of problem are very few compared to the thousands of succesful transactions, putting up a system like that would be a lot more work for VB
we'er above the tour de france.
take that froggies.
