sweet flyer henry
why thank you
The route looks good but +1 to ending up somewhere central, though maybe without all the confusion as to how we we're actually getting to John Snow and having to wade through the crowds of Piccadilly Circus this time.

Also, anyone from Camberwell on the case for the ride as I'm going to do some spoke carding/flyering this week when I have a spare minute. Fancy helping out?

took it and ran with it

Love the flyer. Would like a couple to stick up in LCF.
Gonna make this ride my most stoopiddest RLJist ride yet.
Can we have a drinking competition before we set off, say around 1pm start (On the 18th) -
• #81
We should definately get our drink on.
-
• #82
i'll bring the turps.......
-
• #83
I hand in on the 18th so it will all be a blur of chemical, liquid and organic enhancements from then on!
-
• #84
I'll alter route then, maybe back down to Old St for drinks at Foundry? S'only just down clerkenwell.
torches, I'm at camberwell on foundation/sculpture. Mine is the blue peugeot with black crows feet type front wheel. It looks a state.
Anyhow, I'll be around to help with spoke cards. Cheers for doing the flyer mate, buy you a can or two. -
• #85
+1 maybe if we start early enough we can stop for a pint at each SU bar?!
@ 6pt im sure the teleflorist would be happy to swap rear wheels with you!
-
• #86
I'm going big bucks marco, blowing cash I shouldn't. Goldtec hub, rigida rim, and I'm converting a really nice light road frame, swapping out the dropouts.
It's going to be the shit.
-
• #87
holloway road is going to be fun.
-
• #88
at teleflorist, haven't seen you bike locked up but I don't go in that much so maybe that's why!
-
• #89
29th is the fucking hand in for me what a load of shit! I need to go on one of these before I finish
-
• #90
I have hand in on the 29th too. Is it too late to shift this to early June?
-
• #91
UAL Alumni ride?
-
• #92
this entire ride will be fraught with peril.
-
• #93
I think early June might be better maybe. A lot of people seem a bit preoccupied with work. Plus it gives me more time to promote it.
Also, I bought a wheel today. H+Son ftw. no more suicide!! -
• #94
at sorethroat alumni ride ftw! Are you going to join the UAL alumni association?
http://www.arts.ac.uk/alumni.htm
looks tight.
-
• #95
WIll definitely join if the free library access is for real.
Also early June is a much better idea
-
• #96
nah nah nah you've got it all wrong. early june is hand in number one, with a bigger hand in and exhibition sorting soon after. which i think is my responsibility as well, curses. plus racing/sportives and more at the weekends. sooner rather than later innit, otherwise i'll never cross 'university social activity' off things to do before i get hit by a large bus after pushing my luck at a red.
Early june freedom? you kids don't know how lucky you are! -
• #97
I'm pretty sure May 29th is the only hand in for me
-
• #98
same.
-
• #99
I've changed my mind about the whole prototype bike thing. I think i'm going to loosen every allen key bolt on my bike and let down the tyres before the ride, and see how long I can last.
Who's with me?!!??!

maybe wear a blindfold as well?
just to annoy some of you, i have already finished the year. i guess im alumni now!
into it. looks like a good length, but as shaw suggested ^ might be better to finish off somewhere a bit more central. any objections?
