Actually the BMW gangsta fork has a rake of 34mm (15mm was idiotic), and angles around 72/73.

Your frame design reminds me of this (which I may still get if my bonus delivers!)

Dogs! You do venture onto other parts of the site :-)
I put that in just to see if you would comment :-)
I guess un- ridable in the sense that it wouldn't be track ridable.
How does it feel, skittish?

I did mention that^^ on my 1st post, it is very much "inspired" by that frame. ; )

Looking at the above, it was never meant to be trackable.
Still, much appreciated. -

Ticks all my boxes. lobly.

ok, i meant more like the bmw trick frame with straight forks.
my bike is suprisingly really nice to ride on the street and polo, can't say about the track. very little toe overlap and you can spin the bars and it rides ok back the front.

OK, we'll just have to meet up once my one is done. Then, seeing is believing ; )
(...and i'm only venturing on this custom frame because the price is special) -

in fact, lets do it before then, in time for some much needed inspiration ('',)

Er.....thanks, but if you mean by that *tobeMashed*, i'ld rather wear skirts this coming spring : )

I've heard it said that this arrangement will make more flex/comfort for the rider. (I mean the stays above the TT)
asm you had a lo-pro Dave Yates frame with a similar arrangement, right?
Yes, and it was certainly very flexy.

Designing thefront end of a bike is no easy task. Unless you find a few bikes that handle the way you like and copy the angles and fork rake. Have a play with this.

@nuknow, pm bubblan, he's a real friendly guy and will probably more than happily give you all the info you need.
Yep, he gave me all the info I needed and quickly. Even drew up some drawings within a few hours as examples. I just need to justify the purchase now!
nuknow,
In fact the D.A.M.P frames looks so good and in a nice material why not just order one :-)

Thing is, the option is to do it with someone back home, and it's a one-off, too good of an offer. Just thought that if I´m going to have something custom built, might as well do it well. I looked for inspiration in 2 big time favs, BMW and DAMP...
very much from there^
