I am not a huge fan of the loudmouthed shouty arrogant toffs
James, self loathing is not the answer.

The White Horse was Paul's local, and favourite pub, so it would make sense...
We could always go somewhere else, too.

I'm not that enamoured with the Sloaney but Sloaney > Lamb for "outdoor space"

They were so late turning up. I was only there for a quick drink after work and ended up cycling home absolutely lashed.
Happy days.

That was a good night. I'm suddenly remembering I was with Paul and some others at the Golden Heart earlier, and then had a mad dash to get to the Lamb before he and Jonathan got there, we'd sent them a long way 'round. Or something. It's hazy. Fuck. So sorry. Can I buy you a drink?

Done.
30th is a friday and the SloPony in the sun is a fitting as you could get!
For the few years of his life we knew the old sod this was the one place could nearly always be found.
That and it has some great memoriesFiddys face was a classic last year, he seriously had no idea he was that well liked, we had 60+ people there in 2 days notice, took him days to get over it
It goes with out saying the custom big turn ups and roll up hanging out the mouth are a must!

Just so you know, the 30th is the Guinness Ride. It would be a shame if we have to have both celebrations on the same day, as I am sure many of the stout lovers, would like to pay thier respects to a fondly remembered, and greatly missed, friend.
