I think that, given the weather, this will be a social ride of the pootling variety.
I have not got much time to think about routes this morning, so we may make it up as we go, unless someone has an idea? If I do get a moment I'll glance at google maps and see what looks good.
Charlotte, come on, you'll be most welcome.

OK, what about if we head over to Gunnersbury Park (sounds nice, I've never been), rolla round there for a bit and then, time allowing go over the river on Kew bridge, down to Mortlake and then follow the river back round to Castlenau, Hammersmith and back home?
Pajamas could leave us at Gunnersbury to head back into Paddington way (do the A40, it's quick quick quick!)

A40 is shit. fUxbridge Road ftw!
I should have "worked from home" today.. looks nice out there.

• #55
Okay, you've convinced me. I'll be the one with the red hair and the none-more-black bike.
-
• #56
Will you be on your penny farthing Charlotte? Please say yes!
-
• #57
You never never know if you never never go..
Ha! You penis :)

I'm coming straight from work, so that's a no, I'm afraid. Even if I could zoom home and get it, I'd be ridiculously slow and if we're going for a proper ride, I'd be left well behind.

fraid I'm out this time dudes, much as I'd like the ride..
got to get familar with quick routes and shouldn't be stressing my leg more than I need to at the moment... canal-side reading for me this lunchtime! have a good roll..

Lovely ride guys, thanks a lot for making the inaugural event really nice. A special thanks to Charlotte for taking over the route finding and showing us around her manor :-)
See you all next week?

was nice. Shame I've had to get straight back to college work. Should hopefully be back from school in time next week.
If the weather is still like this, of course..

Oh! Hi Oliver, yes la grinta, I like also the rage ( if we talk about urban speed up) but I think is bit too much
-
• #68
Sorry we disappointed you with the lack of speed Marco. I think Corny and I were saving our legs for Herne Hill tomorrow. ;-)
Hope to see (and ride with) you soon.
-
• #69
no Andy no one disappointed me, and I'm almost sure that you Corny and Mashton regarding legs are more trained of me, and yes if i will be free for sure i will enjoy again ....and this time i will be beaten very badly! because i talk too much.

How was it? You sounded as though you had a good time. Great stuff
Come along Charlotte. There may be some sections of tear arsing along but there will also be some sections of steady riding. Given it's a lunch time social I'm certain we'll wait for anyone caught behind too.
