I'll take it off your hands if it's too flexy for ya...
-
• #7379
I don't find mine flexy. But I am skinny and lacking in strength.

Any time any place.

Is that a Dash?

Thought you had some kind of strange aero top tube box

With a metal bit for those mid test tabs?

Yep

Can anyone recommend a decent clincher wheelset around the £500ish mark? Looking to upgrade as the ones that came with my giant defy are on their way out. Most of my riding is in Essex so I would imagine a bit more aero over weight would be best.

Basically, you can spend up to and around the £300 mark for some 1600-ish gram wheels, e.g. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fulcrum-racing-5-lg-road-wheelset-2017/rp-prod126868
Or you can pay around £500 for some slightly lighter and better wheels.
e.g.
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/easton-ea90-sl-road-clincher-wheelset-2016/rp-prod146177
Or you can do the semi-custom route.

There is nothing below DT Spline R23/24 and above HED Ardennes and nothing in between.

These?

They look pretty similar to the fulcrum 5's. -

Anyone have any recommendations for something similar to Pacenti SL23s but not tubeless ready? Needed for racing/good weather training. My LBS has recommended Kinlin XT22 but I think they're tubeless ready again and I f**king hate putting clinchers on tubeless ready.
The Pacenti's rim cracked in a minor off (spoke pulled through) which is apparently a pretty common defect with them...

You might as well get used to it now, it's the future. Once the current extrusion dies wear out, there's probably not going to be anything nice which isn't tubeless ready.

Anybody using H Plus Son Hydra rims? Looking ahead to next years wheel upgrade. Currently considering Stans Grails.
-
• #7397
they come highly recommended by wheelbuilders I've spoken to.

Cheers. Read a couple of reviews, quite favourable, but not seen any on builds on here. May take a punt on them.

The kinesis wheels already?
Is that the version before it was called the jet 9? I'm referring to the latest and second latest gen.
