As if it will ever be clean enough for you to see what colour the rims are...
-
• #4728
Yeah, get me with my colour (designer: not a colour) matching shizzle.
Truth be told, I prefer black for everything because it all tends to end up covered in my custom road grit + grease paste.

But at least the black start out as black, as opposed to some other colour that I might reveal once every decade when it gets cleaned.

Well done Feng Shui well against grey but for a suit in a job interview.

Rather not.
the c24s are winning, given the ridiculous longevity of my current ones.
these are tempting though...

Very light for the price too, with normal j bend spokes, very compelling.

Hi
I'm looking for decent clincher tyres that look like good old fashioned tubulars - you know with beige walls - any suggestions?
(Everything on wiggle seems to be uniform black or coloured...) -

Clement Strada LGG.
This, money, look, and reasonable weight.

At one stage I toyed with Schwalbe Lugano - with beige walls, they look like tubulars but the reviews below are terrible...

edit - ignore

The dura ace c24's have much thinner braking surfaces than the rs80 c24's if I'm not mistaken - will probably impact longevity.

Idiot question - can I run Hope Pro 3 on 11 speed? Hope says no, various things I've read on the internetz (and since lost the links for) suggest it is possible with a campag 11 speed cassette. This would be with a shimano group.
Truth, or witchcraft? And will the shifting be fucked?

You need a 10speed campag freehub as the campag freehub fittment is the same for 10/11 spd cassettes.
Or you can get a 11sp cassette that fits on 10spd free hub, they exist but aren't cheap.Neither option is cheap.
I'd just rebuilt wheel with new 11spd hub.

Sounds like a good excuse to buy new wheels then :)

I think you're okay as long as you use a 28t cassette, as that gives enough height to clear the spokes. Could be wrong though.
