Weinmann. And they are quality (well certain Types made after the 1970's). I have a pair on my fixed that have are still going after 20 years of use on various bikes.
yeah they take 20 years to stop you!

That looks nice, what bars are those do you think?
They are £8 steel risers from ebay... cut down.

Think I need to find some, I plan to run it singlespeed if I haven't already said. Need to source wheels, BB, bars, stem, forks and some brake levers and some other bits. Just hope I can get those brakes on there.

What size is the frame? I have a 58cm frame and a Mirage caliper and it will only fit my 27" front wheel, not the 700C rear. Unfortunately it is a rear caliper and my current front brake works fine.

There seems to be loads on eBay. I just looked:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=230339621980
Think it will go well, I think the mix of modern and old will be good.

Mirage are standard road drop. It's your bike that's odd.

LOL, well I might no go for the carbon forks. Single speed, Ahead or threadless, flat bars, blue paint, decent wheels, flat bars. Picture it.

Thank you and goodnight.
Much love.

So what do you think to my plans?
I can't say spending on a carbon fork is a good idea. There will be no discernible performance, or ride benefits.
Also you could just get some clear nail varnish or modelers enamel on the tatty parts of the frame.

It sounds lovely. Post some pics, and ask if you've any questions.
