Meals are paid for at work, downside is that you eat what you get given. I don't eat meat substitutes nor have I had the urge to. I just find it vile, pointless and overrated.
Also, I'm perfectly capable of cooking a meal with vegetables, genius isn't.

Going back to siesta for a minute, it only works if you work within walking striking distance of your home which might have been a good idea once upon a time when people generally did, thing is, most don't any more.
If you're one of the lucky ones who still have a job in recession ravaged spain, you might well work an hour or more's drive away. Starting at 7am and finishing at 9pm with a 3 hour siesta in the middle of the day sudden;y doesn;t seem so attractive if your civilised siesta is taken up with a 2.5 hour round trip. Invariably you end up working though it to make up for the slack caused by lucky locals having a long lunch and nap. Doubly so if you work in any kind of business that's dealing with overseas customers because the rest of the worls doesn't siesta...
Have friends in exactly this situation and it sucks. One poor bloke never sees his young family and is permanently shattered. Can't leave for fear of not being able to find another job.
Siestas = overrated.

It's not though, is it. I don't see why everyone who disapproves of the monarchy on an ideology/social/political/moral level has to discredit every last thing associated with them. Lot's of the pageantry, though basically impotent, is quite interesting in itself (craft, ritual, history etc.)
It does however look a bit nouveau riche IMO...

I wonder what the odds are of the coronation of king Charles for spring 2013 being announced over the next few weeks. The Windsor PR machine hasn't stopped for the last couple of years and they're seeing that the only way to stay relevant is by being in the "public eye". Regardless whether it is a funeral, assassination, jubilee, wedding and subsequent divorce or any other scandal.

The monarchy in this country is a fucking disgraceful combination of disfunctional and blinkered fops. All of Liz and Phil's offspring are fucking miscreants:
1) Chas: architecture commontator (with neither the training, nor any clue) and philanderer, still billed as one of our "betters". What a cunt.
2) Horsey Chops Anne - refused to have a dog put down after it bit several members of staff and a very heavy right foot. Never banned. Utter whore of a daughter (I have several stories - Pisti must have more).
3) (R)Andy - scratch golfer who when not using the Royal Navy helicopters as a cab service, can't keep his hands off the new recruits.
4) Useless Eddie - failed media darling who got a note from his Mum to get out of the Marines. Tosspot. -
