See, that's where you're wrong. Too many toppings don't improve a pizza; 3 at the most, and a mixture of meat/vegetable for me. And don't swamp it with tomato sauce.

Pizza should contain lots of tomato sauce. It's all about the tomato sauce, lots of mozzarella and pepperoni. Anything else makes it worse.

Agreed with pepperoni. But some mushroom/onion with that pepperoni...angels sing. Not persuaded with the tomato sauce argument.

And as for onions, in Venice you can't even get a pizza with onions on. I suspect if you asked for them the would throw you in canal. Quite right too. Fucking disgusting things that have no place in any meal.
