When I do multi stage racing I use Nuun and Elete Water. It's the only way to get the minerals in.

A carbon 31.8mm is heavier and feels shittier in the hand than the 26mm version.

You need more material hence a heavier bar to achieve the same strength as the equivalent 26mm bar.

Still falls down to the stem. If you have amazing carbon bars but a £15 stem it's still gonna be flexy as fuck

Yep, I used to road ride and race crits in 40degC with just water. I'd be in agony for the rest of the day with splitting headaches and massive muscle cramps. Someone suggested sport drinks (Gatorade, Staminade at the time) - problem solved.

Exactly. I always use Nurofen to explain the concept of product surround, although you could also use it to explain placebo effect, to a degree.

I've just finished watching a documentary about Donovan. After sitting through it, I've got to say Donovan.

Morrissey has released a couple of cracking records, and some shit ones, and despite the fact that he comes across as a stupid prick I do like some of his music a great deal. Just like Radiohead in fact.

Regarding generic vs brand, sometimes it's just a case of not knowing any better/cheaper.
