Oh man. Must have been wild. I was only ten then lol. I’ll have to check out that doc.
Finally got around to seeing the ‘Sweet Harmony’ exhibition today. Great little collection of flyers and anecdotes. As part of it they’ve curated a load of playlists from stations that were active from the area.

I also discovered that Kiss FM was broadcast from the end of my road.

That is great, thanks for posting. The Ragga Twins night on those flyers looked like a good one! I'll take a listen to the audio links.

Bought a copy of this last year, a blast from the past for me (being form Bristol).

Have been going through this thread again for stuff to listen to for the days that I'm in the office and this one is quality. Pretty much made a note of every song add to my 'good music' playlist. Will probably just be better off bookmarking the link for future listens instead.

Couple of Deep Jungles out this evening, including a Trace repress. Only intending to go digital with these, and looks like there’s a little bonus…

Popped into my head for whatever reason. I love the atmosphere and progression in this. Definitely reminds me of Fabric raving.

Ooh, nice spot!!
I would love it if they would re-release this cassette (on vinyl would be nice).

I think I mentioned it before, but my mate bought a copy from someone at a rave around 1992, it is a great piece of music.

Might be a bit too old school compared to the typical DJ output, but you never know, even if just released digital.

Yes, they do seem to be releasing some of their later tracks. All good whichever way!

Unclear if this is a repress or a new compilation… nothing on the Subbase site yet, but there have been loads of teasers of different stuff lately.

I was there!! Can't believe it was 30 years ago.
I went to a screening of the Aaron Trinder film on Thursday, it is a great chronicle of the free party movement. There are a couple of pics of me at castlemoreton in the film!
Alan "Tash's" story is quite interesting, he was subjected to surveillance and harassment during the 90's. He has captured a large part of 80s and 90s youth culture through his work.
If you get a chance to see Aaron's film watch it.
This has been on all week and only a few miles from me but covid prevented me going to a couple of the evenings I wanted to go to.
