  • looks like pall mall up to piccadilly? be faster on the bike when everyone else is dead then, just have to stay in for a bit......

So was it wrong of me to see the images of Mexico City's empty streets and wish I could go riding there.

  • Does this mean pork will be cheaper?

No because the price of long pig is going to escalate dramatically.

  • Can we get some of these with the LFGSS logo made up?

  • Look at the baggy legs on those. Hipsterism is officially dead.

  • Can we get some of these with the LFGSS logo made up?

i want one but only if it is definately 'Du Pont' branded, fake body suits just dont cut it

  • Don't Rapha already do something similar? I need to check with Bikesnob to see if it's ok to wear them in a late-to-mid-post-neo-ironic manner.

I'm sure I saw a similar skin suit in their sample sale...

  • I have a plan to spread the word that you can become immune by eating human flesh and thus start a new breed of Panic Zombies. I want to go down screaming and shooting shotguns, not feeling a little ill.
Also, in true LFGSS tradition, my friend and I had a pun-off.
    Aporkcalypse Sow
    The Baconic Plague
    The Pink Death
    Pork Itchings
    Pig-sniffles.

  • "the pink death"

All internet humour is now complete and the web can finally be shut down.

  • has anyone got on the tube and started coughing on purpose recently?

  • Won't the other people try that cure for all ailments and illnesses on the tube of staring indignantly and then holding a copy of Harry Potter really close to their nose?

Known to cure AIDS and prevent 14 different types of cancer doanchewno

  • has anyone got on the tube and started coughing on purpose recently?

    :-)

I have a bike, so no need to use the tube. For this I am thankful.

  • my college's medicine prof. just sent out an email saying that it was over hyped and unlikely to be serious.
My virologist professor was making jokes throughout her lecture, and my tutor is sending out emails forwards which take the piss out of virologists.
I'm not sure their particularly concerned.
Oh and at cernan- Thus far Tamiflu is showing efficacy against the currently mild symptoms exhibited by a poplulation with and inherent immunity to this strain.

  • it was raining on monday and I posses no waterproofs whatsoever. would normally have htfu'd and hone but really couldnt be bothered.

In any case, a whole group of us went from oval to angel doing this yesterday, quite a lot of people changed carriages. good times. we're all going down.

  • not a bad idea.

one of my friends does a performance piece with a baby made from stuffed tights. that's always funny to watch, she'll drop it from a sling and there's always someone who'll let out a little scream. bless em.

  • my college's medicine proof.

what, has it got a protective aura then?

  • has anyone got on the tube and started coughing on purpose recently?

I've got track hack after doing a track TT on Monday, had some very funny looks when I've had a coughing fit

  • eyebrows!
Indeed, the increasing numbers of patients being treated are improving the stats for tamiflu.

Roche must be pretty happy after how limp it was against avian flu.

Don't think there will be any need for dustin hoffman to run round chasing monkeys anymore. Its turning out to be quite a polite little pandemic despite what the news says.

Most people in the UK will just get on with their lives, and thousands of poor people in Africa will continueto die from malaria and AIDS.

  • Something perverse about that isnt there? we live our lives at the expense of the third world

  • Cyclists empty shops of Respro masks. Don't bother, they're none left.

  • Can anyone smell truffles?

  • Can anyone smell truffles?

    He he!

  • Some bloke on the radio mentioned that 'seasonal' flu kills between 30,000 and 40,000 U.S. citizens each year.
He pointed out that it's quite odd we're (i.e. the press) not all freaking out about that.

I keep hearing this argument, it's often presented as a challenge to the level of attention given to this current threat.

To me is sounds a little like:

*Around 3000 people are killed on UK roads every year.

There are rumours of new highway legislation that will almost guarantee an additional 200,000 roads deaths in the UK in a single year, but to be honest I don't know what all the fuss is about, 3000 people die on the roads in the UK every year any way ?*

I don't think we are freaking out about the annual 12,000 UK deaths from influenza, as this is the norm for a population of our size with our considerable medical resources.

Breaking Pig Death news!: WHO to raise the threat level to 5 within the hour (8.00pm).

    5 !

    Five !

Not sure what colour 5 is, but I bet it is a serious colour like RED !!!

    AaaaAAAAAaaaaaAAAA !!

Swap or sale: Argon 18 track frame for tinned food (anything considered).
