Garden secateurs or snips from any diy shop will go through any cable in about .5 seconds.
Take it with you if you don't want to loose it or magnetic bb's in all the allen heads.Magnetic bb's in the allen heads sounds like either complete genius or scoldingly simple to remove, have you ever tried this and how powerful a magnet does one require to remove 'em when needed? Ta.

What would get through the old bicycle chain (apart from a link splitter) in an inner tube ploy? I'm guessing it would have to be bolt croppers minimum?
