  • Anyone interested in an alloy track/SS frame? White, 59cm, aero-style, about 6 months old, comes with fork (alloy blades, steel steerer) and headset, £90, can provide pictures if anyone wants them. The frame also has cable guides for a rear brake so can be built up singlespeed too.

  • For sale a Gazelle Vuelta frame and forks 56/54. Perfect beater f+f, quite a few cosmetic chips and marks but nothing structurally wrong with it apart from the head-tube has ovalised. I unknowingly purchased it like this but I've had no bother riding it since. Some super strength glue should sort this out. I will include seat-post, UN54 bb and Campag Veloce headset with it. £35

    Initially purchased from here:
    http://www.lfgss.com/thread46985.html

Also have Kinesis Racelight RC2 Frame. 56/57cm TT ( I think) Red in colour with carbon seat stays. Great frame and very light but sadly to big for me. Included is 10 spd shimano chain. £50

  • would anybody be interested in this? with full campag now. (including different front wheel which matches rear)

  • also does anyone (long shot) have a seatpost shim size 25.4 > 26.4? thanks

  • anyone got a 700c tyre in good nick? i got another puncture....

How easy would the Racelight be to set up fixed? I've not built a bike with vertical dropouts before and don't want to get stuck with a frame I can't do owt with... :)

  • I think it's achievable with a magic gear and half link chain, depending on how hard/ often you ride you might need to change the chain every 6 months or so due to stretch.

Was having a little chat with Andy at lunch about whether this might be possible - do you have any measurements/photos you could share in terms of spacing etc.?

Pics would be nice as well, just to get a feel for the thing... :)

I've got a couple of stems going here: http://www.lfgss.com/thread80589.html#post2724384

Cheapo one has a rise, not sure how much though. BLB one has a 6 degree rise/drop, which ain't too severe...

Andy can probably get some BLB ones into Bicycle Ambulance. Billy's on Burleigh Street sells their Halo branded ones (more or less identical to my Milwaukee).

  • Cheers lads

  • So, a new frame might be inbound, onto which the parts from this will be transplanted.

But that means frame/forks from the beater might be up for grabs.

1987 Raleigh Royal with 531 ST tubes & forks and plenty of surface rust (middle pic shows the sort of level we're talking) but could be taken back to metal and salvaged to a high level - PERFECT beater material as is though - if you like a bit of quality on your beater ride...

It's fairly little, maybe 54cm and that's about all I can remember for now but will measure up over the weekend and provide full details if there's any interest.

In an ideal world I'd be asking 100, but what's fair? 80?

If the other frame does indeed come in, I'll strip this one down and take some proper close ups of what you'd be getting, but happy to take more of the bike as it's currently built up in the interim. Or feel free to pop round/ask questions.

  • The above would include original BB and headset as well...

  • like rob a new frame is on the cards, dont suppose anyone would be interested in my charge race Frame with tange forks + FSA headset?
