nah, you get the sort of cutter that cuts it slowly but cleanly. Very different from bolt cutters if that's what you were thinking of! Something like this: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Hand%20Tools/Plumbers%20Tools/Quick%20Adjust%20Pipe%20Cutter/d10/sd210/p58059
But yeah I should be about either way

Pop into Bike Ambulance, they've got a massive hacksaw and a vice - bung them a couple of quid and I'm sure they'll oblige...

Miche Primato Advanced 170mm cranks[/B] with crankbolts and 44T 1/8'' Stronglight chainring with new chainring bolts plus Miche BB plus SRAM PC1 1/8'' chain [chain is new and unused].
Bought from Plexarice a week or so ago and only reason for sale is that i've bougt a set of DA 7600 cranks......as you can there is quite a bit of heel rub and the occasional scratch but tapers and threads are fine.
£65 posted or £60 collected from Sawston for the chainset, BB and chain.Sold to Wardy.

Is the heel rub just very shallow? Might take them if there are no deep scratches, could be worth polishing!

right at last, have a decent picture of the Raleigh Europa.
seattube 59cm, top tube 57cm.
typical early 80's racer, 5 speed, 27" steel rims (virtually rust free), drops with the suicide levers, centre pull brakes and those horrid "mudguards".....the person whom I am selling for couldn't be bothered to clean it, but the frame is grubby as I have cleaned off some of the grime and it's a nice shiny red.
2 new tyres fitted......was advertised for £50 now £45
if I didn't have "1 bike too many, according to mrs" I'd clean it and use it myself

Does anyone have a large cycling backpack I could borrow? Something around 40-50L and that can fit into hand luggage? Really not getting on with the one I borrowed.
