Anybody got a scrap frame I could have? Thinking about making a bike from bamboo using the headtube, dropouts and bottom bracket shell of a frame. Interested in anything no matter how mangled so long as those parts are ok :)

@ Wardy - Got an old frame you can have if you pick it up. It's some crap old women's town bike but it's lugged so it should come apart easy enough. Head tube is for a 1" steerer and is 132mm tall. Pm me if you want it.

have you tried "howes" in regent street at the top end, or the one on kings parade...ben haywards

you can pick cloth tape online for as little as £5... I couldn't find any in town so that's what I did eventually when my mum wanted new tape

I'll sell my 48spoke singley speedy wheel for £35. Ridden about 20 miles so essentially new. comes with a cheap 16t freewheel too as I don't have the tool to remove it
