Hey,

Someone may already be contacting you on lfgss but just in case I thought I'd invite you to our tournament on Saturday 9th May at 12pm. We're making an effort to get teams from outside of London so it'd be great if you could come. On the Sunday there is a Cycle Oxford event with more polo, an alley cat and a gig in the evening.

Accomodation available (possible involving a yurt!)

We'll post the full info and flyer on our website, lfgss and various other places when it's ready. Are you entering the euro comp in August?

oxford is easy to get to by car/van, so i'm happy to drive if it suits. it's about 1hr 1/2 away, train is more complex as you have to change in london i think.

i want to go london on sat but won't be around thursday evening to discuss. i would be happy to drive a couple of passengers and their bikes if more fitting transport isn't available!

I can't do Saturday as I'm still away on tour and then have my brother's wedding to go to at the weekend. I will look into driving for Oxford as well. I'm sure there are going to be more than a car load wanting to go.

do you want to go then? I think they are all starting quite early (11am) the time they throw in mallets and choose teams ;)

anyway, imma going, if you're driving ill be happy to pay you (seriously now :) for the services etc...maybe a beer too. Just need to talk to will on how i can get my polo bike back as i left it with him :S

I can have use the van but will have to pay Nick to use it. It's probably worth it if enough people are coming just to save fuel having people in the same vehicle. It'll probably work out at £10 p/person all in (that's if there's 9 people in the van including myself).
