First of all i want to say a huge thank you to all the guys and the one girl who raced....there may have only been 40 of you, but you rode hard and made it an awesome day all round.
To the 80+ people who registered but didn't turn up for WHATEVER reason...SLACK...that's all i can say...you missed out.
The report from the link above pretty much summed it up perfectly...although it failed to mention me, the organiser missing the turn onto Stockwell road and riding right up Brixton hill...only to have to ride back down again...duh!
There were some really fast riders and some really good riding once we reached the park, as the photos will show once they're all sorted through.
The final results were as follows...
1st) Stamp bike Tom
He wins a Brooklyn Machine Works BMX frame and fork, a £100 Howies voucher, a Brick to Brix tee shirt, and a bottle of Champagne (which he used perfectly)2nd) Phil Jordan
He wins a £100 Howies voucher, an unknown Brixton cycles prize, and a Brick to Brix tee shirt.3rd) Dov o'neil
He wins a £100 Howies voucher, and a Brick to Brix tee shirt.4th) Mathieu Trinquart
He wins a Vans voucher, and a Brick to Brix tee shirt.5th) Matt Barnard
He wins a Vans voucher, and a Brick to Brix tee shirt.First and only girl was Anna Glowinski...she wins a £100 Howies voucher and a Brick to Brix tee shirt.
Highest Bunnyhop was won by Ben Godfrey...he cleared 3.25ft and wins a £100 Howies voucher.
There were also prizes of professional prints of their best trick photos from today taken by Farrid for 6 riders.
All in all it was a great day....big thanks to Brooklyn Machine Works, Howies, Vans, Brixton cycles, House of Pistard, Imperious Rex, Brigitte, and the two bicycle policemen who allowed me to sweet talk them into letting us carry on playing our music despite having no permission from Lambeth council, and then agreed to let me play it even louder...if only more police officers were that cool.
See you all next time!
Scott not Scot.

It turns out that the reason i was so slow on the way there was due to my 9lbs lock and my 20lbs backpack...who'd have thought it eh?
Once i gave that to my friend to bring home in her van, Myself and Object absolutely FLEW back....we sprinted pretty much flat out for the full 7 miles home....no easy task on BMX's :)

Cheers James. I'll go for first next time!
That homeless, cracked heel, bloodied face guy was creepy. The look on Tom's face when he's hugging him says it all!
